The FIT scheme requires certain licensed electricity suppliers to pay fixed tariffs to micro and small renewable energy and micro Combined Heat and Power (CHP) generators for electricity generated and exported to the National Grid.

The CFR is a database of all FIT-accredited installations. Feed-in Tariffs Order 2012 (“the FIT Order”). Specifically, you need to: Verify meter readings provided by FIT generators. As a FIT licensee you should also be the main point of contact for any queries generators have.

As a FIT licensee, you will need to access the CFR (Central FIT Register) to register installations, update details of FIT installations, and make levelisation submissions. FIT licensees also need to participate in the periodic and annual levelisation processes.
